Lodge Facilities

Our modern, well-appointed lodge has been finished to a high standard in beautiful native timber, with large windows offering sweeping views of the national park scenery. We’re known for our cosy, relaxed atmosphere and our lodge facilities include everything you need for a great stay. You’ll feel right at home, and it doesn’t cost the earth.

The guest lounge is a fabulous place to unwind, soak up spectacular views of Mt Cook and relax by the log burner fire. Choose a book from the library or enjoy the big screen TV with SKY satellite programming. The lounge opens onto a large deck where you can soak up the sun and scenery.

Our fully equipped communal kitchen is ideal for those wishing to cook their own meals. Please note that there is no supermarket in the village, so if you are planning to cook meals at the lodge, buy groceries before you come. The nearest supermarkets are located in Twizel and Lake Tekapo. If you need breakfast supplies or other essentials, we have a small shop located at reception.

For those who prefer to dine out, the lodge is walking distance to local restaurants and cafes.

Although you can buy fuel in the village, it is advised to fill up your car in Lake Tekapo or Twizel. There is no ATM machine in the village.
